This pioneering project in France aims to enrich existing biodiversity and ensure a future for a young market gardener. The planting of trees of more than 60 species, from fruit trees to energy wood trees, will also contribute to soil enrichment and erosion control.
Up to 66% of donations as an individual are tax deductible from your taxable income, to a limit of 20% of the taxable income, if you are a tax resident of France.

Créée en 2007 à l’occasion du Casdar Agroforesterie 2006-2008, l’AFAF travaille depuis 2010 au développement de l’agroforesterie en France, aussi bien sur la scène agricole, politique qu’auprès du grand-public. L’association est une plateforme d’échanges et de partenariat entre les agriculteurs, les opérateurs de l’arbre champêtre, la recherche, les décideurs politiques, les collectivités, administrations… Force de proposition au niveau national comme international, elle travaille pour que l’arbre retrouve sa place au sein des systèmes agricoles.Created in 2007 on the occasion of the Casdar Agroforesterie 2006-2008, AFAF has been working since 2010 on the development of agroforestry in France, on the agricultural, political and consumer levels. French Guiana boasts over 1,500 tree species and is one of the world’s five High-Biodiversity Wilderness Areas (HBWA). This diversity is under threat from gold mining and increasing urbanization. In addition, there is little know-how today to preserve local tree species. This project involves planting 625 trees to establish a seed orchard with species endemic to this particular territory, which, over time, will help preserve and restore the natural environment currently under threat.
95% of the donations received will be put into the project and the remaining 5% used to cover the running costs of A Tree For You
