This new planting wave in Tena seeks to reforest spoiled areas with 13,000 trees. The sustainable agroforestry model being implemented is helping improve the quality of life for Kichwas while protecting the adjacent primary forest. This initiative is a response to the issue of biodiversity loss. It is carrying on from previous projects focused on planting valuable trees in Tena.
93% of the donations received will be put into the project and the remaining 7% used to cover the running costs of A Tree For You
