This plantations of fertile trees and cocoa trees of an old variety are very resistant and prized for its organoleptic qualities. These trees provide a decent income for families, while regenerating soils and thus protecting the surrounding forest from the old practice of slash and burn.
Yves wants to transform an old apple orchard, currently abandoned, into a forest. Let’s plant with him chestnut trees, douglas firs, and some cork oaks to boost biodiversity, honey and forestry production.
